The University of Alabama has completed the 2007 Master Planning effort and presented the plan to the Board of Trustees for final approval. The plan, once adopted, will be a dynamic document that will guide the growth of the university, both now and into the future.
Darrell Meyer, the Director of Planning, for the KPS Group of Birmingham has headed the planning effort in conjunction with the University of Alabama’s Planning Department. Darrell has been involved in the process from its inception and took the lead of the team, in the summer of 2005.
This is the final draft of the plan, based on all of the information gathered from the campus community, alumni, on line surveys, City of Tuscaloosa, neighborhood groups and others.
